TranslateSingapore 2015

31 October – 12 November 2015

The first translation festival of its kind in Singapore, TranslateSingapore offers a thought-provoking and stimulating line-up of programmes this November!

Translate Singapore

Singapore Translation Symposium / Public talks / Schools / Select@SWF

TranslateSingapore is the signature annual event of The Select Centre. The festival has four main aims: To develop the capability of the local translation industry; raise public awareness about the role of translation in society; facilitate the exchange of best practices among practitioners and organisations; and establish Singapore as the translation hub of the region.

The festival is anchored by the Singapore Translation Symposium, while also presenting a number of public talks and school workshops. In conjunction with the Singapore Writers Festival (SWF), we also organise a literary track of programmes Select@SWF that showcases the intercultural and interdisciplinary facets of Singapore literature and the arts.
